Okay, I don't know what it is with these Belgian artists, but I am absolutely intrigued by them. I just discovered a new indie band out of Belgium called School is Cool. What I love about School is Cool is that their music radiates happiness, much like We're All From Barcelona. Their simple acoustic melodies are actually fresh, although you can hear traces of indie folk in their songs.
There is one thing that perplexes me about School is Cool. I don't understand their music videos at all. Why is there a need to show your band members racing around a playground in attempt to paddle little kids? Thankfully the schoolchildren just turn into colorful confetti. Beats me. Watch New Kids in Town and take a look and a listen.
