Juanes-- more than his "La Camisa Negra"

I have a passion for all things Latin and Spanish, but especially love latin music. Yes, I am fully aware I am  a white girl with blonde hair, but when I hear Latin music I like to pretend I am one of those quintessential Latina women who exudes sexiness and most importantly, can dance!

My all time favorite Latin artist is Juanes. This Colombian singer, guitarist, songwriter and hunk (sorry guys) sings songs that are catchy, yet incredibly meaningful. Juanes incorporates traditional Latin music elements, like the Spanish guitar and salsa beats, but manages to create an incredibly modern and amazing sound that translates across cultures.

Juanes is more than his famous song, "La Camisa Negra," a song that most students know (probably because their overweight Spanish teacher played it in over and over again in class--or maybe that's just in my case).

Get past "La Camisa Negra" and listen to "A Dios le Pido" and "Nalga sin tu Amor."
