I'm from Barcelona... I wish

I like to listen to happy music. Its what gets me out of my bed in the morning, motivates me to do that extra hour of studying, and simply just puts me in a good mood. Who needs Prozac when you have feel-good music? (Just kidding, there is a real need for Prozac)

In my opinion, the ultimate "happy music" is made by indie group, I'm from Barcelona. I'm from Barcelona is comprised of 20+ musically gifted Swedes, and soon became a Swedish favorite and music festival favorite. I first started listening to I'm from Barcelona my senior year of high school when my senior class did a fun sing a long to  the band's song, "The Painter,"  in our spring review program, but that's besides the point. I'm from Barcelona produces sing-along optimistic anthems that are simple and catchy. If you want to be in  super-happy mood you could actually play their entire albums together and have a indie-pop anthem marathon.

This "soccer team" of happy swedes does not disappoint. On another note, leave it to the Swedes to make the ultimate happy music. Why are they so damn happy all the time? (Oh that's right, because they are all beautiful and financially happy)

Listen to "The Painter" and "We're all from Barcelona" AND FEEL GOOD.

Cheers!
