I must say I'm enthusiast of things that are old and new. Heck, pop in some Frank Sinatra or some motown hits, and I'm your girl. As electro-fused beats are getting more popular, I've noticed a new type of genre that involves 50's music and electro beats that I simply cannot get enough of. Call it big-band electro or electro-swing, take your pick. No matter what you may call it, you have to agree 50's music + techno beats = a match made in heaven.
Lend an ear to Gramophondize's "Why Don't You," a song mashed up with Peggy Lee's classic 50's song, "Give Some Money Too."
While you're at it, you have to listen to Parov Stelar's "Catgroove." CAUTION: This song may cause head bobbing, car-dancing, and full-out dancing like the guy in this video:
